Over the weekend, I visited Royal Oak with a girlfriend. She had never been there before. We had lunch at Comet Burger, stopped at
Astoria Bakery for baklava, and then went to
Noir Leather. In the store, she headed to the back and I stopped in the front part because they had a box of old postcards for .96 cents a piece, where I found these lovely postcards of Kew Gardens and Piccadilly Circus, two of my favorite places in London. I had no more than picked them out when my girlfriend came hurrying out of the back saying her "horizons had been more than broadened" and she wanted to leave right then. I never even got to explore the other rooms yet! At least, I got to buy my postcards.
